Lokasi yang mencatat sejarah perjalanan dakwah Rasulullah iaitu Masjid Siku atau Masjid Alkou (Masjid Kuk). Masjid ini berada betul-betul di pinggir jalan utama. Masjid ini mendapat nama siku disebabkan terdapat kesan lekuk pada batu ketika Rasulullah berteleku dengan siku Baginda disini. Masjid ini merupakan tempat Rasulullah berlindung ketika dikejar bani Thaqif.
Secara ringkasnya, Nabi Muhammad SAW datang ke Taif utk berdakwah. Namun, kedatangan Baginda mendapat tentangan yang hebat dari Bani Thaqif sehingga Baginda di heret keluar dari Bustan as Thaqif. Mereka dikejar dan di baling batu. Baginda dan Saidina Zaid cedera dalam peristiwa ini.
Itulah hebatnya sifat sabar Rasulullah dalam berdakwah. Oleh yang demikian, hikmah dan kesannya pada penduduk Taif tampak jelas sehingga kini.
